16th Century Italian Milanese Suit of ArmorAged Patina Finish
This super-fine wearable suit or armor is designed to reflect the styling of the Italian armor of the early 16th Century typical of the type produced in the Milan area. It has a spacious and strong movable visored helmet with catch complete with a leather lining to adjust for the wearer's head size. The piece has a great aged-patina finish that reflects what old armor would look like if well cared for. |
It is not "rusty" but has a gentle color variation throughout ranging from a bronze to a subtle gold cast. It is not a "spray painted" finish and is extremely durable. The finish does vary throughout the piece and no two armors will be exactly the same. Everyone here loves this piece. It is perfectly happy sitting there looking great on a stand or can be suited up and taken to your re-enactment or costume event. We designed the Helmet ourselves and worked closely with the builders to get exactly the look we wanted. It would look FANTASTIC in your castle or dungeon. It would accommodate wearer approximately up to 6'0" tall and 210 pounds. There are lots of adjustment straps to customize the fit.
